The Solution

This rear brake reservoir cover is designed to improve the appearance of the OEM reservoir by adding a cleaner and more refined exterior cover. It slips over the factory reservoir body while still allowing access and functionality.

Based on OEM reservoir part number cross-references, this cover also appears to fit several other Yamaha motorcycles that use the same rear brake reservoir design, including select MT and FJ models.

Multiple style options are available depending on the desired appearance and visibility level.

Installation Notes

Installation is simple and does not require disconnecting brake lines or removing the reservoir.

To install:

Remove the mounting nut from the reservoir bracket
Slide the cover upward from the bottom
Reinstall the nut once positioned correctly

The fitment is intentionally snug for secure retention.
