When removing the rear passenger footpegs and mounting brackets on the Yamaha FZ-09, the exposed frame mounting points and hardware holes are left visible. This can make the rear section of the bike look unfinished and may also expose unused mounting areas to dirt and moisture.

The right-side cover includes an integrated tab designed to retain the rear brake fluid reservoir. If the reservoir mount is not required, two left-side covers can be used instead.
