Ford Maverick Leaf Baskets

Leaves and pine needles that land on your Ford Maverick's windshield eventually get washed down into the basin below the wipers. From there, they end up loose in the engine bay or accumulate behind the front wheels — in a spot that's nearly impossible to clean out. These baskets solve that problem for good.

The Problem

Open the front door and look past the lower hinge — you'll see exactly where debris collects. It's a tight, hard-to-reach spot that most owners don't even know about until it becomes a real issue.

The Solution

These custom leaf baskets strain all of the windshield runoff and collect leaves and pine needles before they can cause problems. They clip onto a bracket inside the engine bay near the hood hinges, and an optional magnet helps hold them securely in place. You'll still need to clean them out once or twice a year — but with the hood open, access is easy.

Installation Notes

• Install the correct basket on each side — L (driver's left) and R (driver's right) are labeled on each piece.
• This part installs in the back corners of the engine bay, one at each end of the windshield basin.
• Maneuvering into place can be tricky due to the tight space. Start by getting the basket into the back corner cavity (just above and behind the wheels), then attach to the vertical bracket, then slide it down flush against the plastic drain.
